The hardest thing to carry is the thing you refuse to name. We wrap up the week with a direct, Scripture-grounded challenge from James 5:16: “confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed.” I’m Brian Crumb, and I’m pressing on a truth most of us learn the long way. When we try to manage sin privately, we don’t get stronger, we get stuck.

We talk about why “white knuckling” temptation in silence feels noble but usually turns into the same cycle of failure, shame, and zero progress. Isolation isn’t a strategy for holiness. Most of the time, it’s the oxygen that keeps the struggle alive. Real Christian accountability doesn’t start with vague hints or generalities. It starts when a man brings his burden into the light with a trusted brother who will actually pray and follow up.

Then we give you a simple weekend move you can do right away: confess one specific sin or struggle to the brother you trust, name it clearly, ask him to pray, and ask him to check back in next week. Drop a comment and tell us how we can be praying for you, and check out mensministry.online for resources to help you grow. If this helped you, subscribe, share it with a brother in Christ, and leave a five-star rating and review so more men can find it.
